"Manager Kim" relieves the disappointment of being only 10 episodes with a "special broadcast."
On July 14, an SBS official told OSEN, "It is correct that there will be two special broadcasts of 'Manager Kim.' The specific content is in the planning stage and we will inform you later," the official said.
Accordingly, following the finale of "Manager Kim," which ends on July 25, special broadcasts of "Manager Kim" will follow on July 31 and Aug. 1.
"Manager Kim" is a father-universe revenge action drama in which 'the most ordinary' father becomes 'the most dangerous' man to get back his only daughter, and the sixth episode, broadcast on July 11, recorded nationwide ratings of 22.3%, making it this year's highest-rated miniseries.
In addition, "Manager Kim" is changing the history of SBS Friday-Saturday drama ratings. The rating for the sixth episode of "Manager Kim" surpassed previously loved SBS Friday-Saturday dramas "The Fiery Priest" (22%), "Taxi Driver 2" (21%), "Stove League" (19.1%), "Wonder Woman" (17.8%), and "Good Partner" (17.7%), and is running toward the No. 1 spot of "The Penthouse 2" at 29.2%.
SBS also plans to soothe the sadness over the end of "Manager Kim" with a special broadcast. Although the format has not yet been decided, it is already exciting fans of "Manager Kim".
