Kang Susie asked when she most wanted to sing, and An Hyejin replied, "I am happy with my family life, but when I am exhausted and worn out from raising children, I felt like I wanted to sing."
While waiting for her turn on stage, An Hyejin received a call from her son who was desperately looking for her and became teary-eyed. An Hyejin said, "He called while crying," showing that she too was moved to tears. Her son's call, looking for her, made her heart heavy.
An Hyejin performed "Maria," and the original singer Yumi also appeared on stage. After the performance, Yumi praised her, saying, "I heard a clearer vocal than Kim Ahjoong for the first time in 20 years. It is such a beautiful voice. It was an honor."
An Hyejin ultimately won first place in The Lovers of Joseon singing contest. She expressed her thanks for creating precious memories.
