Broadcaster Kangnam shocked the production team with a hidden-camera prank at Nara Park in Japan that made it look like he was eating deer droppings. It turned out there was a twist.
On the 14th, the YouTube channel Dongnechingu Gangnami released a video titled "Gangnami's one-day trip to Nara prefecture(?) where healing and killing coexist."
That day Kangnam went to Nara Park, one of Japan's major tourist destinations, intending to buy snacks to give the deer but could not purchase them because they were sold out. While walking around the park he stepped on deer droppings and suddenly picked up the droppings and put them in his mouth, saying, "Droppings are cute. In the past kings supposedly tasted droppings to check their health," which surprised everyone.
Kangnam calmly said, "It's clean. It tastes like grass," and, "Herbivores don't have diseases, so it's okay to eat," and the production staff were left speechless in shock. When Kangnam urged, "Try one," everyone waved their hands saying, "No."
The video immediately displayed a warning caption reading, "Do not ever eat deer droppings because of the risk of deadly infectious diseases." Even so, Kangnam joked, "I'm risking my life for YouTube."
The production staff again asked, "Isn't that chocolate? Did he really eat it?" and Kangnam replied, "Where would chocolate suddenly be? You saw him pick it up and eat it right in front of you." The production staff said, "Even seeing it with our eyes, it doesn't make sense. I knew he was an extraordinary person, but I sincerely respect him," and Kangnam joked, "By eating deer droppings, even pigeons respect me," prompting laughter.
He even picked up more deer droppings, saying, "You have to eat a big one," which shocked those on site once again.
But the twist was revealed in the post-credit cookie video at the end of the video. Kangnam confessed, "Actually I didn't eat droppings. It's a lie," and revealed that what he had eaten was gongjindan. The production staff also added, "Kangnam isn't the kind of person who would eat droppings," and breathed a sigh of relief. It turned out the situation was a hidden-camera prank that Kangnam had planned in advance with the main producer before departing for Nara, Japan. Kangnam had prepared gongjindan in advance and put it in his pocket, and when everyone's attention was elsewhere he quickly succeeded in switching them.
Kangnam's hidden-camera prank, which deceived everyone with a deer-droppings mukbang, ended with the truth revealed and brought laughter.
