Actress Kwon Sohyun proved the expansion of her acting spectrum through Love In Sync.
Kwon Sohyun appeared as rising star Han I-jin, a former girl group member turned actress, in the new Saturday-Sunday drama Love In Sync (written by Jeong Yeon and Kim Seong-rae, directed by Kim Chil-bong), which aired on the 11th and 12th, delivering layered portrayals of contrasting emotions that increased immersion.
Han I-jin signed an exclusive contract with the agency of Yoo Ji-an (Kang Min-ah), who was embroiled in a power abuse controversy, but grew tense with an unreadable expression when the agency head subtly compared her to Yoo Ji-an. In addition, Han I-jin smiled broadly at the sight of Cha Eun-hwan (Kim Myungsoo) yet engaged in a tense power struggle with Yoo Ji-an, revealing their love triangle. In particular, at the end of the broadcast she plotted a scheme to trap Yoo Ji-an, creating anticipation for upcoming developments.
Having mainly portrayed human and realistic youth characters in previous works, Kwon Sohyun led the drama in Love In Sync by expressing the hardships of a rising star through her eyes and facial expressions, traversing emotions and expanding her acting spectrum.
Since her girl group days, Kwon Sohyun has consistently used a cold tone and dry expression toward Yoo Ji-an, a rival who made her feel inferior, freezing the atmosphere on every appearance, while sending warm smiling eyes only to Cha Eun-hwan, whom she likes, delicately conveying emotions that change moment to moment. Her matured acting fills Love In Sync.
