A helicopter couple whose daughter's ruined marriage led to twilight parenting and marital conflict appeared on 'Marriage Hell.'

The helicopter couple said their younger daughter, who had been a diligent radiology technician, returned completely changed 180 degrees after about a year of heading to Seoul. The younger daughter's marriage was shocking. Regarding this, psychiatrist Oh Eun-young said, The monologue in the video appears to be a dissociative symptom that can occur in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). If the trauma is too great, sense of reality can be shaken and there can be problems in memory systems, she said, adding, A pattern of loosening of associations and fragmented speech is visible. Because it is a symptom that can worsen under stressful situations, active professional treatment is needed, she said, viewing the situation seriously.
Watching the incomprehensible younger daughter and the suddenly appearing granddaughter, the helicopter couple also argued. The wife expressed resentment toward her husband, who went to gatherings every weekend, saying, Childcare is all my responsibility. I want to meet friends, exercise and have my own time, and the husband raised his voice, saying, Then will you bring in money? I'll do all the childcare, and It's because of you that the children ran away from home.
Oh Eun-young emphasized the trauma the younger daughter likely experienced in the marriage, saying the daughter had asked her parents for rescue. You should have asked, 'Are you struggling? What can we do to help?' and You should return the primary caregiver role to the mother, the younger daughter, she advised.
