Singer Park Jin-Young and groups TWICE, Stray Kids and 20 people from JYP Entertainment were selected as members of the Recording Academy, which organizes the Grammy Awards.
JYP Entertainment said on the 14th that Park Jin-Young, TWICE and Stray Kids, a total of 18 artists, were selected as voting members of the Recording Academy (Recording Academy®).
It also said JYP CEO Jeong Wook and Shin Hyun-kook, chief strategy officer and head of JYP America, were selected as professional members of the Recording Academy.
Recording Academy voting membership grants membership qualifications to music creators active in the recording industry, such as artists, songwriters, producers and engineers. They gain the right to participate in the Recording Academy's voting process to select Grammy Award nominees and winners.
Active singer and JYP's chief creative officer Park Jin-Young, along with Jeong Wook and Shin Hyun-kook, were earlier named in January by Billboard in the U.S. to the multi-sector category of the "2026 Billboard Power 100," which selects people influencing the global music industry. They were also named "2026 Billboard Global Power Players" in March.
