Broadcaster Kangnam shocked even the production team by unexpectedly putting deer droppings directly into his mouth at Nara Park in Japan.
On the 14th, a video titled "Kangnami's Nara prefecture day trip(?) where healing and killing coexist" was released on the YouTube channel "Dongne Chingu Kangnami."
That day Kangnam visited Nara Park, a representative tourist destination in Japan, and spent time with the deer. He intended to buy a special snack to feed the deer but was disappointed because it was sold out, and later, while strolling through the park, he stepped on deer droppings.
Then Kangnam suddenly said, "Poop is cute," and remarked, "I heard that in the old days kings tasted poop to check their health," after which he picked up actual deer droppings and put them in his mouth, startling everyone. After tasting the droppings, Kangnam said, "It's clean. It tastes like grass," and added, "Because they are herbivores they don't have diseases and it's safe to eat," which horrified the production team.
The production team was left speechless by the unexpected action, and although Kangnam urged, "Try one," everyone waved their hands and refused, saying, "No," which elicited laughter.
A subtitle immediately appeared in the video warning viewers, "Do not ever eat deer droppings due to the risk of fatal infectious diseases." Kangnam also joked, "I risk my life for YouTube," as he wrapped up the situation.
Later, in the post-credits clip, Kangnam said, "Actually I didn't eat it, that was a lie," and revealed the item was gongjindan. It turned out Kangnam had conspired with the main PD before departing for Nara. He had prepared gongjindan in advance and successfully pulled off the hidden camera.
Meanwhile, the droppings of deer and other wild animals can contain bacteria, parasites and various pathogens, so the act is actually very dangerous. Eating or touching deer droppings can carry a risk of infection and should never be imitated.
