Girls' Generation member Tiffany Young is returning with her first solo full-length album.
Pacific Music Group said on Aug. 14, "Tiffany Young will release her first solo full-length album, 'Edge of Calm,' on Aug. 20, capturing moments of immersion and balance."
On the 13th, Tiffany released a schedule poster through her official channels and announced her solo comeback. The restrained-mood styling, deep gaze and sophisticated visuals raised expectations for the new record. She sensually expressed the album's atmosphere, in which tension and calm coexist, adding to the curiosity.
The new record's title, "Edge of Calm," refers to the moment when subtle tension and focus cross with emotional balance just before stillness. Tiffany participated across the album, from concept planning to styling, visual directing and music video story work.
Ahead of the album release, Tiffany will begin preorders on the 30th and will release audio snippets, visual photos and music video teasers as she prepares for her solo comeback.
Returning with a full-length album a decade after her solo debut, Tiffany plans to continue active promotions.
Earlier, Tiffany announced her marriage to actor Byun Yo-Han in Feb. and received many congratulations, and she is appearing on stage in the musical Yumi's Cells.
