Singer Roy Kim spent a happy time with fans.
Roy Kim held a fan meeting, "THE ROY KIM SHOW: speaking · listening · singing," at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Seoul on Nov. 11 and 12.
Roy Kim met many fans through a total of three performances, and the fan meeting, which combined music and talk, offered warm comfort and joy at the same time to the fans who attended.
That day Roy Kim opened the fan meeting with "The moon of Seoul," coloring the venue with his characteristic deep sensibility and delicate voice. He then performed "Selfishness alert," "WE GO HIGH" and "Why are you like that" in each showing, delivering stages with different charms at each performance and giving fans a special gift.
After introducing stories from fans submitted in advance, Roy Kim performed requested songs live such as "Long-distance (Hold on)," "Wherever you are," "Listen," and "Leaving behind and going" and filled the venue with warm emotion. Roy Kim's characteristic delicate expressiveness and sweet tone added comfort to each person's story and made the power of music felt once again.
Roy Kim said, "I held a fan meeting for the first time in seven or eight years. To give the unique fun of a fan meeting, I worked hard to make it somehow more special," and "The times of talking directly with fans and sharing small stories came as a different kind of emotion from a concert. I am here now because there have always been fans who have been with me since my debut. I am always grateful."
