Actor Seonghun, whose broadcast activities have become somewhat scarce after a past "poor manners controversy," is sharing recent updates with fans through TikTok and YouTube.
Recently, Seonghun opened an official TikTok account and has been presenting live broadcasts and short-form content. He has released various eating broadcasts and challenge videos, and during live broadcasts he has actively interacted by responding to fans' comments in real time.
At the same time, he also runs a personal YouTube channel "Seonghunhae," where he shares daily life and behind-the-scenes of shoots and various other content. Rather than broadcast programs, he appears to be expanding his activity range centered on his personal channel.
Earlier, Seonghun was embroiled in an attitude controversy when he appeared on the 2022 tvN variety show "Restaurants with Lines."
At the time, upon seeing a long line in front of a restaurant he said, "I can't stand in line. If there is even one person waiting, I go to the place next door right away," and during the meal he was criticized as unhygienic and rude for actions such as eating food with the tongs used to grill meat or appearing to wipe sweat from his head.
As the controversy grew, Seonghun's side apologized, saying, "It seems there were parts that went too far as we tried to make it fun," and "We apologize if viewers felt uncomfortable. We will be more careful going forward."
Since then, with his exposure on variety shows and broadcasts reduced compared with before, Seonghun has been meeting fans directly through TikTok live and YouTube, continuing a new form of communication.
