"Love In Sync" actor Kim Myungsoo took it upon himself to be Kang Min-ah's manager and ignited the romance in earnest.
On the 12th, the fourth episode of the Lifetime weekend drama Love In Sync (writers Jeong Yeon, Kim Seong-rae; director Kim Chil-bong) depicted Cha Eun-hwan (played by Kim Myungsoo) emerging as a strong supporter for Yu Ji-an (played by Kang Min-ah).
That episode revealed the painful past that Cha Eun-hwan and his sister Cha Song-hwan (played by Cha Min-ji) had carried with them. During an accident that occurred on a film set when they were children, their father jumped into the scene to save a child, and Cha Eun-hwan followed to hand his father a respirator. Cha Song-hwan, who tried to stop him, was injured in the accident, leaving the siblings with an indelible scar.
Yu Ji-an, who fully absorbed Cha Eun-hwan's emotions, approached the audition with changed feelings. Her deeper acting surprised the director and writer, but she was crushed again by the news that another actor had already been cast. She was then cornered when a reporter trying to dig into a past power-abuse controversy grabbed her, but Cha Eun-hwan appeared, blocked the reporter and introduced himself as Yu Ji-an's manager, creating a flutter.
Meanwhile, Han Yi-jin (played by Kwon Sohyun) enjoyed the joy of being cast in director Moon Kyung-sik's (played by Jo Hyun-jae) work by taking advantage of Yu Ji-an's absence. She then offered Cha Eun-hwan an exclusive contract as a psychological counselor, but the mood changed abruptly when Yu Ji-an arrived at the office before the contract was finalized. After witnessing Kim Joon-sik's (played by Jeong Hee-tae) cold attitude toward Yu Ji-an, Cha Eun-hwan refused the contract, and Han Yi-jin's plan fell apart.
Afterward, Yu Ji-an unexpectedly got a chance when the actor who was supposed to take the same role was injured. She asked Cha Eun-hwan to be her manager, saying she wanted to use his emotion-transfer ability to help her acting, but Cha Eun-hwan refused because of memories tied to the past incident. To make matters worse, he was stripped of his psychologist certification as well, plunging him into confusion.
Another crisis followed. On a rainy day, Yu Ji-an found Ha-yul (played by Go Jun-yi) lost and brought the child home to care for him, and in the process she learned that Cha Eun-hwan was not Ha-yul's father but his uncle, which made her smile. However, Cha Eun-hwan, who had been desperately looking for Ha-yul, became momentarily angry when the child appeared at Yu Ji-an's house, and the hurt Yu Ji-an left. Cha Eun-hwan, who arrived later to apologize, found Yu Ji-an collapsed and rushed her to the hospital, adding to the sorrow.
The two together at the hospital were seen on online communities, and Han Yi-jin, who saw this, devised a scheme to sign Yu Ji-an with an unscrupulous agency. But when Cha Eun-hwan learned of it, he ran straight to the contract scene and declared, "I'll be that agency's manager," protecting Yu Ji-an. Yu Ji-an's bright smile at Cha Eun-hwan's unexpected words signaled that the pair's romance had entered a new phase.
