Koopa bassist Joe Murphy has died.
On the 7th (local time), local outlets such as The Sun reported that Joe Murphy passed away. He was 46.
According to foreign media, Joe Murphy's death was announced by his younger sister. Through her personal social media, Joe Murphy's sister posted, "It breaks my heart to tell everyone who knows my brother that Joe Murphy has passed away. I love you, brother," announcing the obituary.
Joe Murphy was the bassist of Koopa, the band formed by Olly Cooper in the 2000s. From 2004 to 2007, Koopa was loved as a leading British pop-punk band through songs such as "No Trend" and "Stand Up 4 England."
During his life, in June 2021 Joe Murphy was involved in a traffic accident after suffering a heart attack while driving. At the time he was reported to be in critical condition in intensive care but ultimately recovered. The sudden bad news has made the loss more tragic.
