The younger wife of Choi Seong Kook unleashed surprising talent on stage.
Choi Seong Kook's wife, who advanced to the finals of TV CHOSUN's hyperrealistic documentary variety show The Lovers of Joseon 5th anniversary special The Lovers of Joseon singing contest, reveals a high-note explosive performance.
In a pre-release clip of part 3 of The Lovers of Joseon singing contest, which will air at 10 p.m. on Monday the 13th, the stage of Choi Seong Kook's wife, who surprised everyone in the preliminaries with unexpectedly strong singing ability, is revealed. MC Kim Kook Jin admired Choi Seong Kook's wife's singing ability, saying, "She is not an ordinary talent."
Choi Seong Kook recalled, "My wife liked singing and was a Busan girl who wanted to make singing her profession," and said, "Right after marrying me, Si-yun was born, and Si-a was born." He added, "Recently the The Lovers of Joseon singing contest opened and she has been going around singing, and I feel an energy different from when she was raising children. I hope she enjoys the songs she wanted to sing to her heart's content," offering deokdam. Their eldest son Si-yun also cheered, saying, "Mom, fighting!"
Choi Seong Kook's wife, a former musical actress hopeful, showcased solid vocals and hit high notes despite a difficult song choice. The final round performance in which Choi Seong Kook's wife fully demonstrated her ability will be revealed in the broadcast.
Meanwhile, Choi Seong Kook entered into a marriage in November 2022 with a noncelebrity woman 24 years his junior, and later welcomed two sons.
