On the 11th, the sixth episode of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Manager Kim" aired and, according to ratings tracker Nielsen Korea, recorded 23.2% in the Seoul metropolitan area, 22.3% nationwide and a peak of 26.4%, setting a personal best.
The sixth episode rating of "Manager Kim" surpassed the previously beloved SBS Friday-Saturday dramas "The Fiery Priest" (22%), "Taxi Driver 2" (21%), "Stove League" (19.1%), "Wonder Woman" (17.8%) and "Good Partner" (17.7%), and it boasts the highest ratings among mini-series aired this year.
It is no exaggeration to say that "Manager Kim" has no rival in the same time slot. "Manager Kim" is not only posting personal best ratings but is also pushing toward the highest SBS Friday-Saturday drama rating of "The Penthouse 2," which has a peak of 29.2%.
Having reached the second-highest rating in SBS Friday-Saturday drama history in only six episodes, "Manager Kim" will begin fulfilling its rating pledges in earnest next week. Actor Yoon Kyung-ho promised, "If it exceeds 13%, I will undertake 13 hours of silent practice," and starting on the 13th he will appear on "Cultwo Show" and hold a silent-practice signing event to uphold the pledge.
