Actress Bang Eun-hee said she had used a specialized company after her mother's death.
On the 10th, the YouTube channel 'Lim Ha Ryong Show' featured guests Jang Yong and Bang Eun-hee discussing various topics.
That day Bang Eun-hee said she is appearing with Jang Yong in the play "A Tender Send-off," explaining, "(Jang Yong's role) is an employee of a specialized cleaning company. They organize the belongings of people who have passed away; that is the job. I appear there as the wife and a ghost."
In response, Lim Ha Ryong asked, "But the subject of specialized cleaning is unfamiliar; is that an actual job?" and Jang Yong said, "They organize the belongings of people who have died, and these days people often die in hospitals, but when someone dies at home it's necessary. They professionally clean and organize — that kind of company."
Jang Yong said, "(In the play) doing that for a long time, you start to see ghosts at some point. I worried that ordinary audience members might mistake that, but everyone saw it well."
Bang Eun-hee recalled, "In my case, both my mother and father passed away. My mother died unimaginably suddenly. And I was in a bad situation so I didn't see her for a year. If she saw me in a bad state she would know immediately from my eyes, so I couldn't see her for a year thinking, 'I'll see mom soon.'"
She continued, "She died in the meantime. She was found two days after passing away, so I couldn't sort through her belongings. I contacted a specialized company and asked for help. Because I experienced that such jobs exist, I really appreciate the people who do that work. I respect them."
