On the 11th episode of KBS 2TV variety show "Mr. House Husband season 2" (hereafter "Mr. House Husband 2"), a scene showed Hwanhee's mother receiving a senior job counseling session.
That day Hwanhee had a conflict with his mother, who was trying a part-time job. At a small cafe located on one side of the library, Hwanhee's mother, making her first americano in her life, followed what she had learned step by step. Seeing this, Cho Hye-lyeon acted like she knew, saying about the freshly made coffee, "Isn't that basically espresso?"
Park Seo-jin asked, "You really know a lot about cafe work," and Cho Hye-lyeon revealed, "I used to run a shaved-ice shop." Then when Lee Yo-won asked, "Did you make the coffee yourself too?" she answered, "I saw it being made and I worked hard making shaved ice."
In particular Cho Hye-lyeon confessed, "Then it got cold in winter so I disposed of everything. That was very hard. I didn't know shaved ice wouldn't sell that much in winter."
Meanwhile, Cho Hye-lyeon previously said on a YouTube channel that she tried to start a franchise of a famous shaved-ice chain. At the time she said, "When there were only 13 stores nationwide," she entered as a front-runner and the shop prospered to the point where people lined up.
Then, driven by greed, Cho Hye-lyeon said, "If you see the second floor, you found a shop location," and eventually expanded to five locations. However, she failed to anticipate the winter slow season and had to close, and Cho Hye-lyeon said, "Later it became so difficult that I sold them off one by one at a loss."
