Comedian Sim Jin-hwa confessed her fandom for Kim Young-chul.

That day, Kim Young-chul attracted attention by holding a birthday party with his fan and junior comedians Sim Jin-hwa and Lee Kyung-boon. Sim Jin-hwa revealed she had long been a fan, saying she liked Kim Young-chul even before her debut.
She recalled, "After I debuted, my husband Kim Won-hyo became a guest on Kim Young-chul's radio," and said, "So I would go in the morning (to where my husband was a radio guest), hide and watch Kim Young-chul oppa."
She added, "But people reacted that we couldn't be separated because we were newlyweds. I went to see Kim Young-chul," she joked. Later, Sim Jin-hwa said, "The PD and the writers were like, 'That woman is strange' and 'We should take her on,' so she became a regular guest," which surprised listeners.
She continued, "But one day (SBS hired junior) Kyung-boon learned that I had become a bit close with Young-chul oppa and said, 'Senior, please introduce me to Young-chul oppa!' That's how the 'Young-chul fan' group began."
Hearing this, Lee Kyung-boon confessed the reason she became a fan, saying, "I think there might be others who liked him as I did. At first I was like, 'Ugh, annoying,' but at some point I totally fell in. She would wear a Boa wig and imitate Boa, and it seemed amazing that she didn't care about Boa fan clubs. I thought, 'How can a person be that confident?'"
