On the 11th, a video titled "How much is the hourly wage for a perfume sample job in Seongsu-dong? (feat. Kim Su-yong • Sudragon)" was posted on the YouTube channel "Yukgam Kim Su-yong."
That day Kim Su-yong explained, "I am starting YouTube from today. I am now in my 60s. I named the channel 'Yukgam' meaning 'the senses of someone in their 60s.'"
He said, "My looks may be old but my mentality is MZ," and proudly showed ears covered in piercings. Kim Su-yong joked, "I did it for style," adding, "People don't say 'You got piercings,' they ask 'Did you get acupuncture?' or 'Did you do it for blood circulation?'"
Meanwhile, last year Kim Su-yong suddenly collapsed while filming a YouTube video with Kim Sook in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province, and was taken to a hospital. It was later revealed that he had been diagnosed with acute myocardial infarction, which surprised many.
Earlier on a broadcast, Kim Su-yong said, "People kept staring at my ears saying that if you have creases on your earlobes there might be cardiovascular issues. I thought, 'This won't do. Let's smooth the creases with piercings,' so I did it," adding, "But the creases have smoothed out a bit. If this smooths out I'll do the right side too. It's an experiment for now."
