A warm return that continues the 20-year legacy of the nation's variety show was achieved.
On the 10th, the new KBS2 variety program 'Happy Together - I like that I'm not alone' (planned by Park Minjung, directed by Kwon Jae-o, writer Rhee Minjung, hereafter Happy Together) featured five teams of life mates who moved the hearts of the 'horn-rimmed trio' Yu Jae-seok, Jang Hang-jun and Yoon Jongshin and first special MC Lee Hyori with touching performances and life stories.
The first participating team was the chorus team 'Fill in the blanks.' Composed of Big Mama Shin Yeon-a, composer Lee Hyun-jung and chorus Kim Hyo-su, they were the top chorus team responsible for 1990s hits such as 'A Single Candle,' 'Coming of Age Ceremony,' 'Wow,' and 'Change.' Shin Yeon-a said, "From the late 1990s to the early 2000s we made many contributions to the music industry, and I came out because it was a shame that no one knew about us," explaining the reason for participating. Lee Hyori said, "I cried in three seconds. These were the songs that comforted me when I suffered as a man," giving an honest impression that drew laughter.
The second participating team was 'Chonnyeon-jigi,' made up of close friends Kim In-sook and Kim Hyun-kyung, who met as parents and have maintained their friendship for 10 years. Kim In-sook, shining with the charisma that won the grand prize at the National Singing Contest 2025 year-end final, dominated the horn-rimmed trio, and Yu Jae-seok said, "The two of you together were just amazing. You two brought out my excitement," expressing admiration.
Click-B appeared as a complete group for the first time in 11 years. The members of Click-B shared various recent developments such as parenting, entrepreneurship and musical acting, delighting fans, and they delivered their first No. 1 song 'Invincible in a Hundred Battles' with unchanged vocal skill and even more powerful energy. Lee Hyori said, "It was nice to see that they still keep a loving heart for music. I hope they continue their passion for music," offering sincere encouragement.
Singer Bang Yedam and his parents Bang Dae-sik and Jeong Mi-young formed the team 'Bangga Bangga,' appearing as the fourth participating team. Bang Dae-sik was the author of national hit commercial songs and cartoon theme songs such as 'Enjoy life,' 'Please spare some time,' and 'Pokémon,' and Jeong Mi-young was also a veteran singer who was active with works such as 'Captain Fart Poongpoong.' Bang Yedam said, "I persuaded them because I really wanted to sing with my parents," explaining the reason for appearing, and the family moved the audience with a performance of 'Pledge of Love.'
The final participating team was 'Like a turtle,' featuring child Jeon Yu-jun and his mother Park Eun-joo. Park Eun-joo said, "Yujun has autism spectrum disorder, and although he is slower than other children, we named the team with the hope that he would move forward slowly like a turtle," which surprised and moved viewers. Then, when the 'Like a turtle' team began to sing in earnest, the pure, unspoiled, unexpected harmony of the two people filled the space.
Meanwhile, the broadcast's ratings that day peaked at 4.8% and averaged 3.0% nationwide (Nielsen Korea), marking the best opening score for a KBS variety show in 2026 and signaling a pleasant start.
