Actor Moon Ji-in expressed joy after passing the gestational diabetes test.

That day Moon Ji-in turned on the camera with a trembling heart before her gestational diabetes test. She said "I have to go for the gestational diabetes test in an hour, and they say if I eat this and my stomach is fine, the chance of gestational diabetes is very high. Actually, the doctor considered my probability of gestational diabetes and said that my mother had gestational diabetes when she last had my younger sibling and is taking diabetes medication. Then the probability increases by like 20~40%. But this can't be helped. I'll try this first. They said if I eat this and I'm fine, it's a bad sign."
After drinking the glucose for the gestational diabetes test, Moon Ji-in voiced concern, saying "I'm way too fine. This is serious. I'm fine right now. My stomach should feel queasy and it should be really sweet, but this isn't that sweet." He said "I'll still humbly take the test" and headed to the hospital to take the gestational diabetes test, and fortunately the doctor told her she had passed the test.
At the ultrasound exam the doctor said, "It's growing well. The baby is 943g. Later your pelvis will hurt. Because it kicks a lot. Babies develop muscles and joints by kicking their mother. So the more they kick the better, but each kick hurts. It's growing well and the uterine opening is well closed, so there's still no sign of preterm labor, so don't worry," conveying a positive situation.
Moon Ji-in expressed joy, saying "I'm so happy I passed the gestational diabetes test," and the doctor urged, "It's not that you're eating a lot, right? You're not eating but why is it growing so well? You must eat three meals. For mothers, eating a little often rather than one large meal helps the baby grow evenly. It's absolutely important to have regular eating habits before digestive problems worsen. Even if you're lazy in the morning, be sure to eat."
The doctor explained, "Actually, at 27 weeks it's barely 1kg, so even if you don't eat now most babies will grow. But people who don't eat start to have babies thin from around 28 to 30 weeks when they should be gaining weight. From then on there's a lot of criticism about eating. Now everyone eats a fair amount. It's just a period when only the bones are growing, so it doesn't matter."
Moon Ji-in expressed concern, saying "Because of the Birthcare Center. When people always ask when it will be, I really don't know either," and the doctor asked, "Have you decided between vaginal delivery and cesarean section?" Moon Ji-in was surprised and asked, "Can I have a vaginal delivery?" The doctor replied, "Once the head descends. If the baby stays breech, even if you want a vaginal delivery you'll have to have surgery," saying that because the baby is still in a breech position it will be determined depending on future circumstances.
After finishing all the tests and turning the camera back on, Moon Ji-in joyfully said, "I passed the gestational diabetes test. The doctor told me it's growing so well that I almost couldn't believe it, so I'm very happy." Comedian Kim Gi-ri also said, "Right. It's growing this well?" and emphasized, "But the doctor told you to eat three meals and then eat whenever you're hungry from now on." Moon Ji-in agreed, saying, "Otherwise the baby uses everything and the mother's body will be worn out." Kim Gi-ri worried, "The baby will be born thin later. The mother must not get sick. You have to eat well."
In particular, Moon Ji-in drew attention by saying, "But really vaginal delivery..." and mentioning vaginal delivery. Previously the doctor had advised against vaginal delivery. Kim Gi-ri asked, "Have you become greedy?" Moon Ji-in said, "It's not that the doctor said it's absolutely impossible. The baby will decide," and added, "Please take good care of my son," showing her desire.
Meanwhile, Moon Ji-in and Kim Gi-ri married in May 2024. After two miscarriages they succeeded in becoming pregnant at age 40 and have received many congratulations. The baby is a son and is due to be born in August.
