Group BTS's fifth full-length album "Arirang" (ARIRANG) is showing steadfast global popularity and continuing long-term success even in its fourth month after release.
According to Spotify's latest charts (July 3-9), BTS's "Arirang" rose to No. 2 on the weekly top albums global chart. The album has hovered between No. 1 and No. 2 on the chart for 16 consecutive weeks, and among them has claimed the top spot nine times, setting the year's record for most weeks at No. 1. The title track "SWIM" firmly maintained its No. 6 position on the weekly top songs global chart, and other new album tracks such as "Body to Body," "2.0," and "Hooligan" have also remained on the chart for 16 weeks. In addition, the new song "Come Over," released on June 12, also succeeded in charting for a second consecutive month.
Momentum on the U.K. Official Charts (July 10-16) is fierce as well. It rebounded 16 places to No. 21 on the Official Albums Top 100, continuing a two-week resurgence. Advances were notable across detailed charts as well, reaching No. 25 (up 20 places) on the Official Albums Streaming chart and No. 15 (up 21 places) on the Official Vinyl Albums chart, demonstrating remarkable staying power in its 16th week since release. Also, it climbed 10 places each on the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts to settle within the top 10, and it held the No. 14 position on the Official Scottish Albums chart.
Elsewhere, it rose to No. 9 on the German official music charts (July 10) Top 100 albums, achieving 16 consecutive weeks in the top 10, and the title track "SWIM" rebounded to No. 88 on the Top 100 singles chart. On the Australian ARIA chart (July 13) it also showed consistent presence, ranking No. 12 on the Top 50 albums and No. 15 on the Top 20 vinyl albums.
Meanwhile, BTS, which is dominating global charts, will continue the momentum of the BTS world tour "ARIRANG" European leg by entering Munich's Allianz Arena on July 11 and 12 (local time) as the first Korean artist to perform there. Then on July 19 they are scheduled to share the halftime show stage at the 2026 FIFA North, Central America and Caribbean World Cup™ final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, New York, alongside global pop stars such as Madonna, Shakira and Justin Bieber.
