Lucy (LUCY) captivated viewers' eardrums with a flawless performance reminiscent of a solo concert.
Lucy (Shin Ye-chan, Choi Sang-yeop, Jo Won-sang, Shin Gwang-il) appeared on the May 10 broadcast of KBS 2TV The Seasons-Sung Si-kyung's Ear Candy and delivered their signature energetic yet delicate band live.
That day, introduced as the "ear band," Lucy opened the spectacular show with "Germination," a track from their second full-length album "Childish." Fitting the song's message depicting youthful dreams, Lucy immediately raised the venue's energy with a refreshing vocal and delicate interplay of instrumentation.
In the following talk segment, host Sung Si Kyung and member Choi Sang-yeop revealed a special connection that warmed hearts. Choi Sang-yeop recalled being warmly encouraged by Sung Si Kyung when he appeared on Duet Festival in 2016 before his debut, sharing the pleasant memory.
Now in their seventh year since debut, Lucy also revealed the secret to their exceptional teamwork. The members said, "When the four of us are together, we feel like we're back in elementary school. We sing and play," then spontaneously sang W.H.I.T.E's "Square Dream." Over Choi Sang-yeop's guitar, the four members' vocals formed perfect harmonies, conveying Lucy's childlike wonder and drawing admiration.
They also expressed overwhelming emotions about performing at KSPO DOME (Gymnastics Arena) for the first time since their debut. Shin Ye-chan said, "It was a dream stage; I was choked up from the start and it was so moving," and Jo Won-sang boasted of the group's passion for the stage, saying, "We pride ourselves on being a band that gets so excited we lose about 3kg after a performance."
Finally, Lucy presented a stage of "The Undying Knight and the Silk Cradle," which featured a dark fantasy sensibility, heating the venue to a fever pitch with explosive band performance and cementing their presence as a leading band.
Meanwhile, Lucy, continuing active global activities, successfully completed concerts at Seoul KSPO DOME and Taipei in May. They will hold a solo concert, 2026 LUCY 9TH CONCERT "ISLAND," over two days on the 11th and 12th at Yeungnam University Cheonma Art Center Grand Hall in Daegu, and on the 24th they will move to Yokohama, Japan, to hold a solo concert and meet local fans.<
