Actor Lee Jong-suk and IU broke up after four years of dating.
On the 10th, Lee Jong-suk's agency Ace Factory told OSEN, "(Lee Jong-suk and IU) have broken up. They decided to remain good colleagues."
Regarding the reason for the breakup, they asked for understanding, saying, "As it is the actor's private life, we find it difficult to answer further."
The relationship between IU and Lee Jong-suk became known after Lee Jong-suk revealed "that person" when he won the grand prize at the 2022 MBC drama awards. Soon after, Lee Jong-suk's side acknowledged the relationship, saying, "What started as a close colleague relationship recently developed into a romantic one, and they are continuing a serious relationship."
Meanwhile, IU recently appeared in MBC's "Perfect Crown." Lee Jong-suk will appear in Disney+'s "The Remarried Empress."
