Actor Ji Ye-eun and choreographer Bata's romance is drawing attention, and the views the two expressed in the past about dating and marriage are again being highlighted.
Previously, Ji Ye-eun and Bata were colleagues in the entertainment industry who grew closer through a shared connection to church, and recently developed into a couple.
Along with news of their relationship, Bata's views on marriage that he publicly shared in the past are being reexamined. Bata appeared on a YouTube channel "Ruach Wave" and candidly said, "I want to get married more than I want to pursue my career."
He added, "These days Korea's marriage rate and birth rate are too low. The media seems to show only the negative side," and said, "I don't know the method, but I want to express through dance how valuable and good marriage is."
He then said with a laugh, "Actually, the best thing is me holding a baby," and said, "I will have to go out and look for a wife diligently going forward," leaving a video message to his future spouse saying, "Let's live well together," which drew attention.
Meanwhile, Ji Ye-eun's recently revealed dating style is also attracting interest. In a video on the YouTube channel 'Okiki ㅇㅋㅋ' released on the 8th, Ji Ye-eun candidly shared her views on dating. She said, "I think my heart starts at 80. I don't give 100; I start at 80 and gradually increase," and said, "Because I might get hurt, even if I really like someone I intentionally leave a little back."
Regarding the speed at which a fling progresses into a relationship, she said, "It's like an airplane. It takes time to take off, but once it starts it goes straight," and said, "When I love, I'm the type to go all in."
She added, "I think a fling should last for about a month or two. I prefer to talk enough and start carefully," and laughed, "At first I'm too shy to express myself and don't show my feelings easily. Outwardly I'm aloof but inside I'm the 'it has to be you' type."
Meanwhile, Ji Ye-eun and Bata, both born in 1994, developed a relationship after meeting at church. Bata is the leader of the dance crew WeDemBoys and a choreographer who created many hit choreographies including "Saeping" and "Like Jenny," and Ji Ye-eun is active through SNL Korea and SBS's Running Man.
