Former FTISLAND member Song Seung-hyun, who retired from the entertainment industry, became a father.
On the 10th, Song Seung-hyun posted on his social account "My beloved sun has safely been born. Our warm, fresh IAAN has just come into the world. I am so happy that IAAN came to be by mom and dad's side" along with a photo.
The released photo showed Song Seung-hyun's newborn son. After marrying a non-celebrity woman in 2024, Song Seung-hyun has started a new life in New York, U.S. Recently, he learned the business while working at a family-run restaurant and entered the food service industry.
Becoming a father, Song Seung-hyun said, "I am still a very inadequate father, but since mom is doing well, don't worry too much and grow up pretty and strong. I love you, son," and added his affection, saying, "My wife, who suffered more than anyone else. You worked hard and I love you."
Song Seung-hyun debuted in 2009 as a guitarist for FTISLAND but left the band in 2019 to switch to acting. He later announced his retirement from the entertainment industry in 2024.
