Broadcast personality Jun Hyun-moo explained why he is taking on his first thriller-genre program.
On the morning of the 10th, an online production presentation for MBN·SBS Plus' new thriller variety show "The psychopath I met" was held, attended by Jun Hyun-moo, Kyuhyun, Nucksal, Heo Young-ji, and producer Joo Hee-jin, who discussed the program.
MBN·SBS Plus' "The psychopath I met" is a true-story-based thriller talk program that deals with real experiences of encountering antisocial personalities such as psychopaths, sociopaths, and narcissists who hide around us.
Jun Hyun-moo, who is taking on a thriller-genre program for the first time since his debut, promised to shine with his trademark humor, compelling hosting, and excellent storytelling ability.
When asked why Jun Hyun-moo, who is known as the busiest MC in Korea with 11 regular programs, decided to take on a thriller variety MC role, he said, "The appeal is that the content itself is close to our reality. These are cases close to our reality, and the fact that we need to know and prepare for them makes this a program that raises awareness."
He added, "Personally, although I said I do 11 programs, this is the one I have to like the most because all of my Netflix algorithms are thriller and horror. It's a genre I particularly like, and because the stories touch on our reality, it's even more interesting."
Meanwhile, MBN·SBS Plus' new thriller variety show "The psychopath I met" will premiere at 10 p.m. on the 12th.
