The group ENHYPEN and HYBE's original story IP "DARK MOON" will appear at the world's largest pop culture festival. The plan is to imprint the "vampire code of a new generation" at the heart of North American popular culture and to solidify its position as a distinctive global mega IP.
ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Niki) will attend San Diego Comic-Con 2026 (SDCC 2026), held at the San Diego Convention Center in the United States, from the 23rd to the 26th (local time). They will visit the standalone "DARK MOON" booth (No. 4129), a story IP collaborated with the team, on the 23rd and 24th, and will meet global fans through a variety of offline events such as large-scale panel talks and offsite performances.
In particular at SDCC 2026, discussions themed on "vampires," a key motif running through ENHYPEN and "DARK MOON," are scheduled. On the 23rd, a panel talk titled "Bite Me: Calling All Vampires," named after ENHYPEN's hit song, will be held. The venue "Ballroom 20," where the event will take place, is an iconic space for the vampire genre where representative works that swept the world, such as the film "Twilight" and the drama "The Vampire Diaries," have held sessions.
On the day, the members will sit alongside renowned critic Damian Holbrook as moderator, director Catherine Hardwicke of the film "Twilight" and actors Peter Facinelli and Ashley Greene to have an in-depth discussion about how they brought vampire characters to life. Expectation is already high for the meeting between the vampire masters who defined an era and ENHYPEN, the new vampire icons.
On the 24th, a separate event that will amplify the festival's energy will be held. ENHYPEN will hold a solo performance and talk session at "DARK MOON BLOOD NIGHT with ENHYPEN" at the House of Blues, a venue near the festival site, with American popular DJ and broadcaster JoJo Wright serving as MC. The dress code for the event is set as "vampire," which is expected to offer the audience an immersive feeling as if they have directly entered the "DARK MOON" universe.
"DARK MOON" is a story IP planned and developed by HYBE itself, and in collaboration with ENHYPEN it has presented "DARK MOON: altar of the moon," "DARK MOON: two moons," and "Children of Nightfield by DARK MOON," among others. Among these, "DARK MOON: altar of the moon" was produced as an animation following webtoon and web novel adaptations, and was translated into 10 languages including English, Japanese and Spanish, gaining global popularity. The dark fantasy narrative based on vampires is closely connected to ENHYPEN's musical story.
Park Tae-ho, head of HYBE's next entertainment business division, said, "'DARK MOON' is an IP that has been steadily maturing in the global market through achievements such as surpassing 200 million cumulative webtoon views and airing animation in more than 80 regions worldwide," and noted, "By sharing diverse discussions with creators and artists who represent the genre at SDCC, a symbolic stage of pop culture, 'DARK MOON' will take an important step toward becoming a core franchise in mainstream popular culture."
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN will perform their world tour ENHYPEN WORLD TOUR 'BLOOD SAGA' IN SAN DIEGO on the 21st in San Diego and will immediately join the SDCC 2026 schedule. In addition to their activities as performers on stage, they plan to demonstrate their powerful cultural influence across North America as a collaboration partner of a globally popular IP.
