Lee Soo-jin posted a long message on her social media detailing her children's summer vacation updates and her position on the recent controversy.
She said, "It's already been about two weeks since the children's summer vacation started," and "Summer vacation is a happy time with more time spent with the children, but raising five children while handling many things together makes me often wonder, 'Am I really doing well?' and 'Am I a mother who is lacking for my children?'"
She continued, "I know my capacity clearly has limits, so I always feel lacking and reflect a lot," and "I vow each day to be a little better mother, but it's not as easy as I think," candidly conveying her feelings.
She added, "Children grow quickly day by day, and knowing this time will not come again, even if I am clumsy and inadequate, I try my best to be with them."
She especially expressed an apology regarding the recent inter-floor noise controversy.
Lee Soo-jin said, "During the recent early-morning World Cup match when Messi's goal went in, I got so excited that a child ran and acted in a way that could have caused inconvenience to neighbors," and "I thought it was not something to brush off as a child's action but my responsibility as a parent."
She bowed her head, saying, "I sincerely apologize for not sufficiently considering neighbors at late hours," and "I will be more attentive going forward and make sure the same thing does not happen again."
