Hong Kyung-min explained, "Usually there are only three kinds of calls that come from Kim Jong Kook: on the way to work out, while he is working out, or on the way back after finishing his workout."
"Even if there is an important private appointment or gathering, Kim Jong Kook always attends only after completing his own workout routine," he said, and added, "Kim Jong Kook had his wedding around 5 or 6 p.m. I called that night and he was at the gym," which drew laughter.
Hong Kyung-min joked, "Seeing that, I thought, 'Ah, for that friend, exercise is like the sacred ritual of the traditional wedding swearing ceremony.'"
Meanwhile, Kim Jong Kook married a non-celebrity woman on Sept. 5 last year, and the event drew attention for being conducted in extreme secrecy from guests to venue and schedule.
