Group NCT member Jaehyun's new song "99 Degrees" (Ninetynine Degrees) music video teaser has been unveiled.
The teaser video, released at 12 a.m. on the 9th on the SMTOWN YouTube channel and others, captured Jaehyun's contrasting images such as glamorous stages, wandering aimlessly through the streets, and relaxed daily life. His sweet vocals combined with these images heightened anticipation for the full story.
The music video shows Jaehyun wandering through places of memories such as a theater and a studio, looking back on the past. It expresses the journey of moving forward by emptying the past that sought perfection and fully embracing even imperfections through emotional cinematography.
"99 Degrees," which Jaehyun directly participated in writing and composing, is a warm ballad highlighted by gentle piano melodies. It sings of finding complete love within the imperfection of 99 degrees—exactly one degree short of the boiling point of 100—and of love being finally completed through the other person.
Meanwhile, Jaehyun's new single "99 Degrees" and the full music video will be released simultaneously at 6 p.m. on the 10th on major music platforms worldwide and the SMTOWN YouTube channel.
