Choi Dae-hoon is appearing as Seong Han-soo in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama Manager Kim. Starring So Jisub, Manager Kim is a father-universe revenge action drama about the "most ordinary" father in the world who becomes "the most dangerous" man to get back his one and only daughter. In the story, Seong Han-soo, played by Choi Dae-hoon, is a long-time friend of Manager Kim (So Jisub) and a taekwondo instructor, and the "uncle trio chemistry" formed with Park Jin-chul, played by Yoon Kyung-ho, has been greatly loved by viewers.
As a result, Manager Kim set a major record by posting a 21.6% viewership rating in just four episodes. Meanwhile, the story of Choi Dae-hoon's wife, who believed in him and stayed by his side since his unknown days, is being re-examined. Choi Dae-hoon's wife, Jang Yoon-seo, is a 2006 Miss Korea runner-up who represented Korea at the international beauty pageant "Miss International" and placed third. She later appeared in the film "Anatomy class", the dramas "Tae-yang-eul Samkyeora", "Please take care of the lady", "Please, Captain", and "Crazy Love", working as an actress, and in 2015 she married Choi Dae-hoon, who is four years her junior, and they have a daughter.
