Shim Ha-eun, wife of former soccer player Lee Chun-soo and a former model, revealed an update on her eldest daughter Jueun's U.S. college tour.
On the 9th, Shim Ha-eun posted on her social media, "Our daughter: the Berkeley wind is a bit chilly. If anyone is coming, please be sure to bring a lightweight padded jacket," along with several photos.
The released photos show Jueun visiting and touring the campus of the prestigious American university UC Berkeley. Jueun attracts attention with long straight hair and sunglasses perched on her head, giving off a more mature air. Even with a striking resemblance to her father Lee Chun-soo, her mother's distinctive proportions and presence draw the eye.
Jueun smiling against the campus backdrop prompted enthusiastic reactions from acquaintances and fans. Fashion designer Yoniphi left an admiring comment, "Jueun is growing so well, Jueun is the best," and other acquaintances likewise expressed astonishment at Jueun's remarkable growth into an outstanding student with comments like "Wow, already?" and "Truly the best."
Earlier, on the 6th Lee Chun-soo posted on social media, "Jueun, thank you and I love you and congratulations... last year you got a 5 on the AP psychology exam so your father was very happy, and this year you got a 5 on AP calculus and a 5 on AP economics, so your father is both very surprised and proud. Sometimes I wondered if our Jueun was just sensitive to trends and interested in many things and maybe I was being fooled~, but as of today I recognize that our daughter Jueun is the best!!"
Lee Chun-soo and Shim Ha-eun married in 2012 and welcomed their first child, Jueun, the following year. In 2020 they embraced the twins, son Taegang and daughter Ju-yul.
Among them, Jueun attends ICS international school, known to have an annual tuition of 40 million won. Last year she drew attention by being accepted into CTY (Center for Talented Youth), the gifted program sponsored by Johns Hopkins University in the United States.
