SBS entertainment program "Rustic bachelor hero" will be extended by one episode on the strength of viewer response. Accordingly, the broadcast, originally planned as a six-part series, will be expanded to a total of seven episodes.
On the 9th, SBS said it decided to add one episode to "Rustic bachelor hero," reflecting the strong interest and reactions that followed the broadcast. The production team said, "In the remaining episodes, we plan to capture an even denser array of episodes unfolding in the countryside," and added, "We ask for your continued anticipation and interest through the end."
Since its premiere, "Rustic bachelor hero" has boosted both ratings and online buzz, establishing itself as a Tuesday variety powerhouse. In the 2049 ratings, a key advertising metric, it ranked No. 1 among Tuesday variety shows for three consecutive weeks.
Its presence is growing not only on TV but also on OTT and online. Right after the first broadcast, it entered Netflix's TOP10 and climbed as high as No. 4. Cast member Lim Young-woong ranked No. 2 in Good Data Corporation's FUNdex non-drama cast buzz rankings.
In the next broadcast, the adaptation stories of Gwak Beom, Nucksal, and Roy Kim, who joined as the "NEW rustic bachelors," will be revealed at the mountain house. In addition, Cha Seung-won and Kim Do-hoon, who have ties through the "Three meals a day" series, will appear as guests to add to the fun.
Meanwhile, Lim Young-woong will hold "I'm Hero - The Stadium 2" for three days starting Sept. 4 at the Goyang Sports Complex main stadium. This performance is his second stadium concert following the World Cup Stadium. Lim Young-woong plans to present a further expanded stage in many aspects, including songs, stage composition, and concert scale.
