BOYNEXTDOOR's first full-length album HOME, released on the 8th of last month, ranked No. 2 on Japan's Oricon monthly album ranking for June. It sold 170,902 copies during June, taking the highest position among K-pop artists counted during the same period.
The group's achievements on global and domestic charts are also dazzling. The album surpassed first-week sales of 1,085,715 copies according to Hanteo Chart, marking a fourth consecutive million-seller. It also entered the U.S. Billboard 200 chart at No. 16, recording a personal best "career high" and setting a major record of charting six consecutive times. The title track "VIRAL" was the only new song in June to enter Melon's monthly chart and is also receiving much love as the official cheering song of the professional baseball team LG Twins.
The album HOME, on which all members participated in songwriting for the first time, proves their strengthened musical capabilities by capturing sincere feelings and experiences they sensed while debuting and promoting as "the boys next door" since their trainee days.
Riding this rising momentum, BOYNEXTDOOR continues the excitement with their first world tour. BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR "KNOCK ON Vol.2" in Seoul, to be held at Seoul KSPO Dome from the 17th to the 19th, showed powerful ticket power by selling out all seats for three shows at high speed as soon as presales opened on the 22nd of last month.
