Comedian Heo Kyunghwan showed a mukbang.
On Aug. 8, a video titled "mukbang with flower beggar on the rooftop: samgyeopsal + bibimmyeon" was posted on the YouTube channel "Heo Kyunghwan." That day, Heo Kyunghwan drew attention by eating bibimmyeon with samgyeopsal and dumplings together.
Heo Kyunghwan said, "Today I'm going to try the mukbang live that's the talk of the town. I heard mukbangs make money," and added, "As soon as you see this you'll run to the supermarket; even though I know it, I prepared food that's just too delicious. If this fails, I'll really become a beggar," showing confidence.
Later, Heo Kyunghwan cooked and ate the bibimmyeon he had been a promotional model for, saying, "The contract is already over and there is nothing more to do, but I really liked it so I'm eating it," showing loyalty.
During the live broadcast, when an internet user asked, "Is there someone you want to eat with?" Heo Kyunghwan said, "Kim Young Hee, the beggar. She used to be my younger sister but turned into Malja. I'll bring Malja once," promising and raising expectations.
Meanwhile, Heo Kyunghwan previously said he bought a 150,000-won flower beggar wig and that he thinks he earns wig money each time he broadcasts. During the mukbang live he said, "There are comments asking if I'm making wig money. That's absurd," and feigned anger, bringing laughter.<
