Pop star Taylor Swift's close friend, musician Jack Antonoff (Jack Antonoff), and actress Margaret Qualley (Margaret Qualley) have split after three years of marriage.
On the 9th (local time), according to U.S. entertainment outlet Page Six, Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley are currently living separately.
A source told People, "The relationship between the two has been unstable recently," saying, "They often fought; Margaret was busy with filming, and Jack was away from home a lot for performances and recording work, so it was not easy to maintain the relationship."
Signs of trouble between the two were spotted on the 3rd. Jack Antonoff attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding events with his sister Rachel, but Margaret Qualley was not seen, fueling breakup rumors.
Antonoff attended the rehearsal dinner and the wedding ceremony, but in photos taken at the time he had his hands in his pockets, so whether he was wearing his wedding ring could not be confirmed, raising curiosity.
Afterward, TMZ reported that contrary to speculation that Margaret Qualley missed the wedding because of a film shoot, filming for the movie King Snake was already completed last June, and filming for her next project, Possession, has not yet begun.
On the other hand, Jack Antonoff was photographed wearing his wedding ring even on the same day the breakup rumors were reported.
Margaret Qualley recently deleted all of her wedding photos from her social media and removed posts related to her husband, lending more weight to the breakup rumors.
The last time the two appeared together at an official event was the Grammy Awards held in February.
Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley were first seen dating in August 2021 in New York. They later appeared together at the 2022 Critics' Choice Awards, and at the same year's Cannes Film Festival Margaret Qualley was photographed wearing an engagement ring, prompting engagement rumors.
Margaret Qualley later announced the engagement herself on social media with the words "I really love him," and the two held a private wedding in August 2023 at Parker's Garage in Long Beach Island, New Jersey, U.S.
