Influencer Kim Ji-young, a former cast member of 'Heart Signal 4,' directly apologized and candidly shared her feelings over the 'shared shower' controversy that arose after the broadcast.
On the 7th, a video titled "How does someone who appeared on a dating show 3 years ago live?" was released on Kim Ji-young's YouTube channel.
That day, Kim Ji-young spoke out about the reactions that poured in after her appearance on SBS 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny.'
Earlier, Kim Ji-young drew attention on the show when she revealed, "I shower with my husband every day." Some reacted that it was an affectionate display befitting newlyweds, but others criticized it as excessive disclosure of private life.
Regarding this, Kim Ji-young said frankly, "Many people seemed to be upset. Seeing that, I thought 'I approached that too closely.'" She added, "In my life it is such an ordinary routine that I failed to consider other people's viewpoints," and explained, "Because I'm not used to filming for broadcast, I thought it was something that would pass by like eating breakfast, but I didn't think that scene would be highlighted so much." She then apologized again, saying, "There were many reactions like 'I didn't want to know even that,' and I'm sorry about that," and added, "It was too much TMI."
However, she expressed regret over malicious comments directed at her husband. Kim Ji-young said, "The malicious comments about my husband are truly upsetting," and clarified, "The 모습 shown on 'Same Bed, Different Dreams' was taken while he was extremely nervous in front of numerous cameras and the production staff." Meanwhile, in another YouTube video she recently released, Kim Ji-young said she was comforted by her obstetrician during a prenatal exam who told her, "You're so hot that people are very envious," adding via captions that "It seems the doctor worried I might be stressed from reading the 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2' comments," and she expressed gratitude for the support.
Kim Ji-young married Yoon Soo-young, founder of Trevari, in February, and she is currently pregnant with her first child.
