The group Red Velvet is celebrating a double blessing ahead of their full-group comeback.
SM Entertainment said on Aug. 8, "the 2026 Red Velvet FAN-CON 'A Day in Red & Velvet,' held Aug. 1-2 at Hwajeong Gymnasium, Korea University, in Seoul, sold out all seats during presale alone, prompting the decision to hold one additional show."
With this, Red Velvet will meet fans for a total of three days, starting with one additional show on the 31st. The additional show's ticketing will begin with fan club presale on the 13th, global fan club presale on the 14th, and general sale on the 15th.
Red Velvet will release a new mini album, "Velvet Summer," at 6 p.m. on Sept. 3, after the fan-con, making their full-group comeback. This new release is their first full-group record in about 2 years and 2 months since releasing "Cosmic" in June 2024, raising high expectations.
Because Red Velvet will hold a full-group concert ahead of their comeback, expectations are rising that they will present a special stage.
