MONSTA X member Kihyun opened the solo comeback season with Monbebe (the fandom name) and announced a variety of activities.
Kihyun held a comeback live on MONSTA X's official YouTube channel immediately after the release of his second mini album 'BORDERLINE' on the 7th.
First, Kihyun greeted fans by saying, "The album has been released. Have you listened to all the tracks?" and then expressed confidence by saying, "I gathered good songs to target many people's tastes, so I included a total of seven tracks," and he began the live in a warm atmosphere by asking fans which album track they liked the most.
Kihyun listened to the album tracks with Monbebe and shared various stories. Introducing tracks from the first track 'Borderline' to 'Stealin' Air' and 'Late Night Drive,' Kihyun selected 'Late Night Drive' as his favorite album track.
About the title track 'So Good,' he shared behind-the-scenes details from the music video. Kihyun said, "It was a more difficult level than MONSTA X music videos," and revealed that he learned breakfalls and wire action at an action school for the action scenes. Regarding the tearful acting in the music video, he said, "Those were real tears without using tear sticks," and added, "As soon as I immersed myself in the world the director created and the filming environment, tears came naturally," suggesting deep immersion.
After inspecting the physical album, Kihyun answered questions left by Monbebe corresponding to six items: airplane, carrier, headphones, charger, camera, and tumbler. When asked which song he has been listening to the most these days, he answered, "I repeatedly listened to the album tracks through earphones, speakers, and in the car while making small adjustments," and he ended the meaningful comeback live by showing the extraordinary passion he poured into this album until the end.
