'Radio Star' Lee Sung-mi revealed her bucket list.
On the MBC variety show 'Radio Star' broadcast on the 8th, in a special episode titled 'Laughter creator crew, 웃크크', Lee Sung-mi, Jeong Seon-hee, Kim Young Hee, and Lee Seon-min appeared.
That day Lee Sung-mi said she updates her bucket list every year. She said "I had breast cancer surgery. Before the cancer surgery I had 12 other surgeries" which drew attention.
Lee Sung-mi, whose breast cancer surgery was the 13th and final one, said "Before the cancer surgery, the largest operation was for peritonitis. That took longer than the cancer surgery. It took more than 10 hours."
She continued, "The peritonitis burst but I didn't know. I have a symptom of being insensitive to pain. I felt something was wrong, so I drove to the hospital, and the medical staff were surprised and said 'What are you doing like this?' They said it looked like my peritoneum had burst, so I went in that morning and had a 13-hour operation. They said they had to wash everything out."
Above all, Lee Sung-mi had breast cancer surgery in her mid-50s. At the time she said she wrote letters to her family thinking she might not be able to open her eyes.
Fortunately, when Lee Sung-mi woke up after the surgery she said, "As soon as I got home I got rid of the letter that had my account number and password written on it," and "Then I realized I had reached an age when I didn't know when I would die, so I made a bucket list."
Thus Lee Sung-mi first prepared a burial shroud made by Park Sul-nyeo, second arranged a columbarium, and third said she takes a portrait for the memorial tablet once every three years.
A recent memorial portrait was shown on screen, and Lee Sung-mi said, "If I use a photo that's too young it wouldn't even look like someone I know, and I wanted a good photo. This photo is fine," and "I asked Song Eun I to be the funeral committee."
