Rescene (Woni, Rive, Minami, Mei, Jena) will release a remake single "Pretty Girl" (Pretty Girl) at 6 p.m. on the 8th through various music streaming sites.
Recently gaining attention through Woni's YouTube channel and succeeding in a reverse climb to popularity, Rescene rose to prominence and took on a remake of the title track "Pretty Girl" from KARA's second mini-album released in 2008. Rescene, which has maintained a special fragrance concept with each album, chose "grapefruit scent" as the main fragrance for this new song, promising a perfect synergy between lovely charm and the refreshing brightness of grapefruit.
Rescene preserved the feel of the representative teen pop genre that earned great love for the original's cute, lively and confident charm, while maximizing fresh appeal with arrangements that are bright and refreshing like grapefruit bursting in the mouth.
The remake preserved the original's addictive melody line while refining the track's overall sound architecture to enhance musical completeness. A representative said, "We added intense distortion to the existing guitar sound to make the song's overall contours clearer, and added tasteful synth sources so listeners can feel Rescene's sophisticated sensibility, creating a refined sense of space."
