As they were peacefully spending time with the villagers, a massive storm cloud swept in over the Sa-hyungje in an instant. Recalling the situation, Kim Dae-ho said, "Rain poured from the storm cloud like someone turned on a faucet."
Local villagers also warned, "If we don't leave now, we won't be able to get out of the village," and the production team ultimately decided to evacuate urgently.
But the escape was not smooth. Kim Dae-ho and his party, who had been at the riverside for fishing, hurriedly climbed a steep slope and kept slipping, breaking into a sweat. In addition, the production crew carrying filming equipment could not use both hands properly and kept losing their balance, and seeing this, Kim Dae-ho ran barefoot to support the crew and lent his strength.
They barely got out of the village, but another crisis awaited. The vehicle carrying Park Myung Soo and Lee Mu-jin got stuck in the mud, bringing the entire convoy to a halt. When the lead vehicle could not move, the vehicles behind it were also immobilized one after another, and the heavy rain drew closer.
Park Myung Soo said, "This is not a place like Korea where tow trucks come. If we can't get out, we'll have to sleep in the car and may have to stay for several days," conveying the serious local situation.
