Girl band QWER (QWER) will sing the opening song for a Japanese animation.
QWER (Chodan, Magenta, Hina, Siyeon) released on its official YouTube channel at 12 p.m. on the 7th the second music video teaser for the Japanese animation "Dogulwang" opening song "SHOW DOWN," which, inspired by the original work's protagonist, shows QWER moving forward undeterred by the red threat.
Amid a swarm of mysterious crows covering the sky in fast-paced staging, QWER delivered explosive energy with an intense band performance never seen before.
"SHOW DOWN," which will be released on various music sites on the 8th, is QWER's first participation in an animation OST since their debut. The bold message "in a hypocritical world, we smash through without caring about others' eyes" is expressed through a powerful band sound. Following the opening song "SHOW DOWN" for "Dogulwang," QWER also participated in the ending song "To Be Continued," demonstrating strong local interest.
Regarding QWER, which recently announced its full-scale local expansion by signing with major Japanese record label Warner Music Japan, a representative said QWER has been steadily building its presence by successfully releasing a Japanese version of their debut song "Discord," performing at major local festivals and completing a world tour, so interest in their Japanese debut is focused.
