"Doctor on the Edge" extends the lingering sentiment of its finale with an OST.
On the 7th, according to Most Contents, OST album preorders for the ENA Monday-Tuesday drama "Doctor on the Edge" (directed by Lee Myung-woo, written by Kim Ji-soo, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by The Studio M) begin at 11 a.m. on major online music retail sites. A compilation containing all tracks was also released at noon on various online music sites the same day.
The OST album includes six vocal tracks released sequentially during the broadcast period: K.WILL's "Love begins like this", Kim Jae-hwan's "What will happen?", doyouka's "On this sleeping night", Isaac Hong's "I Can", Boramiyu's "Want to come over for ramen?", and more's "Electric Love (Electric Love)". Added to this are 18 score tracks used in the drama, bringing the total to 24 tracks.
The "Doctor on the Edge" OST was overseen by music director Les Fourmis, who has worked on many high-profile productions such as The World of the Married, Sweet Home and Descendants of the Sun. Les Fourmis's distinctive delicate sensibility and lyrical melodies capture the characters' love, growth and moments of comfort more deeply, enhancing the drama's immersion.
Meanwhile, "Doctor on the Edge," which airs its final episode today (the 7th), depicts the process by which public health doctor Do Ji-ui (Lee Jae-wook), who was stationed on the notoriously harsh island Byeondongdo, and the secretive nurse Yuk Ha-ri (Shin Ye Eun) heal each other's wounds. Fans saying goodbye to the series are expected to continue feeling the drama's afterglow with this OST album.
