Global pop scene's leading singer-songwriter Khalid (Khalid) is coming to Korea for a solo concert for the first time in eight years.
Khalid shot to global attention with his 2016 debut single 'Location.' Since then, he has solidified his unique position with numerous hits such as 'Young Dumb & Broke,' 'Better,' and 'Talk' charting high on the Billboard charts. In particular, his second studio album Free Spirit topped the Billboard 200 chart immediately after its release, and he rose to prominence as an artist representing the era, including being named one of Time magazine's 100 most influential people that year.
His musical trajectory knows no genre boundaries. From Billie Eilish's 'Lovely' and 'Eastside' with Halsey to 'Something Special' released with actor Ahn Hyo Seop, he has been consistently loved for collaborations that span genres and generations. He was also recognized for his artistry by receiving the Billboard Live Music Summit's Disruptor award in 2025, given to artists who create musical trends.
After his first visit to Korea in 2018 was unfortunately curtailed by canceled concerts due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Khalid plans to quench that long-standing longing with this performance. This visit, part of the 'It's Always Summer Somewhere' world tour that began in May, will feature a rich live setlist ranging from his signature songs to tracks from his latest album.
Khalid's Korea concert will be held at KINTEX Hall 10, Exhibition Center 2, on Dec. 5, 2026, at 7 p.m.
Tickets will be available through the official ticketing site NOL starting July 16. Prior to that, artist presales will begin on the 13th at 12 p.m., and Trip.com presales will start on the 14th at 12 p.m., proceeding sequentially. Detailed information can be found on the artist's official website and social media.
