Actor Kim Hye Jun will appear in MBC's new drama "Mind Doctor" (working title).
On the 7th, OSEN reported that Kim Hye Jun recently received the script for MBC's new drama "Mind Doctor" and, after positively reviewing it, decided to appear.
"Mind Doctor," based on the web novel of the same name, depicts the story of a genius surgeon without emotions who, after a shocking incident, gives up everything and works in psychiatry. Kang Ha-neul was early on chosen for the male lead Lee Si-chan, and Kim Hye Jun is expected to play the female lead, a psychiatrist.
This is the first time Kim Hye Jun and Kang Ha-neul will work together on a project. Kim Hye Jun made a special appearance in the past on Dr. Romantic, but this is her first full-fledged medical drama, and it is also Kang Ha-neul's first medical drama challenge. Expectations are high to see what chemistry and acting the two peers will show when they meet in a medical drama.
Previously, Kim Hye Jun starred in "Cashero," which ranked No. 1 globally on Netflix last year, and this month she is preparing for the release of Disney+ "A Shop for Killers" season 2. The new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama "My Bias, My Boss," which airs in August, is an office growth romance that continues her busy schedule.
