Group i-dle proved their strength as a music chart powerhouse with their comeback.
i-dle (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) released their ninth mini-album We made on the 6th, and the title track Gimme Dat Love debuted at No. 1 on Bugs real-time chart upon release, reached No. 5 on Melon HOT (30 days) and No. 1 on the latest chart (1 week). In addition, the pre-release track "Crow" reentered the Melon HOT 100 (30 days·100 days) and the latest chart, and the album tracks "Morning" and "Love Is Pain" also settled in the upper ranks of the charts.
Also, following No. 1 on China's Tencent Music Korea chart, the album tracks "Morning" and "Love Is Pain" ranked 5th and 6th respectively. The new album We made topped QQ Music's digital album bestseller EP daily and weekly charts, and entered charts in a total of 21 countries and regions, including No. 1 on the iTunes top albums chart in Hong Kong.
The "Gimme Dat Love" music video reached No. 1 on YouTube music video trending worldwide chart, and quickly ranked at the top in 34 countries and regions, including No. 1 in Korea, Australia, Germany, France, Russia and the U.K., signaling a hit. On QQ Music, it is currently No. 2 on the overall music video chart and the Korea chart.
We made is i-dle's new release six months after the digital single "Mono (Feat. SKAI worldwide)", and it showcases a more pop-oriented charm than before. The album includes the title track "Gimme Dat Love", the previously released "Mono (Feat. SKAI worldwide)", "Crow", "Morning", "Love Is Pain", and a mono version of "Mono (Feat. SKAI worldwide)" as a CD-only track.
