Actor Seo Su-min is drawing attention as her debut work Manager Kim is exploding in ratings.
On the 6th Seo Su-min released behind-the-scenes photos of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama Manager Kim on her personal social media. In the photos Seo Su-min is wearing a school uniform, making a V sign and smiling.
Seo Su-min is giving a passionate performance as Kim Min-ji, the daughter of Manager Kim (played by So Jisub). Min-ji, just before being kidnapped, became enraged at the reality of being mistaken for a school violence perpetrator and lost her whereabouts afterward.
Especially since Manager Kim is her debut work and the drama has become a big hit with ratings exceeding the "cursed" 20% mark, Seo Su-min is receiving public attention.
As a result every move of Seo Su-min is becoming a hot topic. On the 5th Seo Su-min earlier posted the message "I'm sorry I got angry and disappeared.. Manager Kim" along with a crying emoji, which has been making headlines day after day.
Meanwhile, episode 4 of Manager Kim recorded a metropolitan average of 22.7%, a national average of 21.6% and a peak instantaneous rating of 25.1% according to Nielsen Korea, breaking its own highest ratings once again. In particular the drama surpassed a nationwide rating of 20% in just four episodes, becoming the first drama since about 2024 to pass the "cursed 20%". Additionally it achieved the feat of ranking third in SBS Friday-Saturday drama historical ratings nationwide following The Penthouse (29.2%) and The Fiery Priest (22%).
