Group 2PM member Jun. K revealed he had no part in his debut song, surprising viewers.
On the June 6 broadcast of SBS 'Uh, but like, seriously!' (hereinafter "Ahgeunjin"), the original beast idols 2PM gathered together for the first time in a while, drawing attention. That day Jun. K mentioned the debut song "10 out of 10 points."
Lee Suji asked Jun. K, "You were the main vocal, but were you somewhat dissatisfied because of the part distribution?" Jun. K answered, "There was no part of mine in '10 out of 10 points'," surprising listeners.
Lee Suji asked, "Aren't you the main vocal?" Jun. K lamented, "Doesn't everyone have their own assigned parts? The lyrics sheet had all the parts, but next to mine in parentheses it just said 'ye~i' like that."
Jun. K even said that in the debut song he had no one-shot and only appeared half in the broadcast screen. There was a reason why the main vocalist had no part.
Jun. K explained, "I actually could have been a member of 2AM. I was practicing (2AM's debut song) 'This Song' when suddenly I became 2PM's main vocal."
He said, "At that time the way they divided parts was 'sing once,' and I was the last in 2PM's order. The part division had already been finished," adding, "(Producer Park Jin-Young told me to try this part) so I ended up only doing ad-lib."
Jun. K recalled how he felt then: "I was dumbfounded. But I'm only talking about this now. At the time I thought, 'I trained as a trainee for four years and they give me 'yei~.'"
