Comedian Mija reported that she has been having nightmares because of stress from stocks.
On the 6th, Mija posted on her social account "I had a strange dream. My phone number was exposed on YouTube and suddenly crazy calls kept coming, KakaoTalk messages kept coming, and strange people were standing in front of my house. I was scared," she wrote.
Earlier, Mija said she had lost money on all the stocks she bought during the KOSPI 5,000 era, sharing her failure experience and drawing attention. She said she continued to try stocks afterward, but recently revealed she lost 100 million won due to a failed investment in a construction stock, eliciting sympathy.
Every time she bought, the price fell, and as soon as she sold, the stock rose, earning her the nickname "human peak detector." In response, Mija said, "I couldn't read messages for a few days, but when I checked my SNS inbox after a few days there were so many. I wondered what this was, and everyone kept saying, 'Please withdraw me,' 'It's too hard, please withdraw me. I'm really serious,' and they came at me like that. The thing that makes me most angry is that there are stocks I never even entered. They said that while talking about that stock, 'Did you come into this? It always rises then suddenly crashes, did you enter, Mija?' Do I have that kind of influence? I'm just a small investor," she said, expressing frustration at the flood of complaint DMs.
In particular, after Mija said she bought Hynix and the stock plunged, complaints toward her intensified. Mija proved her stock status showing a return of 11.66% and explained, "It's not my fault so stop sending DMs," but the fact that she has been suffering from malicious comments and even nightmares made the situation more pitiable.
Mija tried to show a positive side, saying, "Was that a dumb dream..?" A fan who saw this asked, "Do you think you had that dream because people cursed you over Hynix?" Mija replied, "I'm cracking up," but also made a bittersweet smile, saying, "I think that might be true."
Meanwhile, Mija is the daughter of actors Jang Gwang and Jeon Seong-ae, and she married comedian Kim Taehyun in 2022.
